As is the case with many studios in the city, on-site parking is limited. We do have 2 spots (7 & 8, with the ’RESERVED UNIT 6’ sign above) located directly in front of our unit, which are available to the client and guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please ensure that your guests do not park in any of our neighbouring businesses’ “Reserved” spots, as they will run the risk of being towed.
There is also street parking available on both Carlaw Ave., as well as one block west, through the laneway across the street, on Morse Street. At times, street parking may also be available on both Logan Ave., as well as Booth Ave. Please be aware of the City of Toronto parking bylaws. Carlawft Studios is in no way liable for any parking violations or towing costs incurred by the client and/or their guests and third parties.
It is strongly recommended to encourage guests to find alternative methods of transit, especially when commuting to and from events involving alcohol. As per condominium bylaws, clients are never permitted to park overnight, or at any time after leaving the studio, in any of the Carlawft parking spots or any of our neighbours’ spots within the plaza.
We are located just east of the DVP and Lakeshore exit, and the Pape 72 (TTC) bus is located just steps away from the studio, immediately across the street on Carlaw Avenue.
Temporary Notice:
While we usually have both spots in front of our unit available to our customers on a daily basis, our building is currently in the process of removing the fire hydrant beside one of our spots, as per city bylaws. As a result of this, we are temporarily using spot 18, located on the south wall of 11 Carlaw Ave. (with the ’RESERVED UNIT 14’ sign above).
Once the fire hydrant has been moved, we will go back to our regular parking situation. On the bright side, this may even result in us one day being able to fit slightly larger vehicles into the unit for shoots. While we have temporarily limited access to spot 8, as a result of this technicality, customers are still welcomed to park in spot 7 & 18.
